Committee People of the 96th vote for Nikki Rivera as nominee

Yesterday, the committee people of the 96th voted on a candidate for nomination to replace Rep. Mike Sturla on the ballot after his withdrawal. After being nominated by the Mayor of East Petersburg, James Andrew Malone, and seconded by Mayor of Lancaster, Danene Sorace, the committee voted unanimously to recommend Niki Rivera to the Pennsylvania Democratic Party as the new candidate. She was later approved by the PA Democratic Party become the official candidate

Nikki Rivera has Rep. Mike Sturla’s full support and we expect this to be formalized by the PA Democratic Party soon.
